Worship

In Psalm 29:2 we are told to “Honor the wonderful name of the Lord, and worship the Lord most holy and glorious.” It is humbling to consider that the Creator of the universe designed us to love Him, worship Him, and to offer up spiritual sacrifices which are acceptable to Him through Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:5).

At First Baptist Cameron, our desire is to worship God in Spirit and truth (John 4:23-24). We recognize that worship encompasses more than a musical style. Regardless of whether we are singing a traditional hymn or a contemporary chorus, our focus is to make melody in our hearts to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19). We believe that worship extends far beyond a church service. Instead, the Believer worships God daily as he demonstrates God’s value to him in the manner in which he lives.

What will you witness in a worship experience at First Baptist Cameron?

*  Heartfelt singing of songs – both new and old

*  Bold proclamation of the Word with an opportunity to respond

* Musical instrumentation which includes piano, guitars, violins, and drums with leadership provided by a vocal worship team

*  A service which attempts to connect with congregants of all ages

*  An atmosphere which is relaxed and yet reverent to the God whom we worship

You are invited to join us as we welcome and enjoy the presence of the Lord! (Matthew 18:20)

First Baptist Cameron offers two worship services on Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. These services are identical in style. F.B.C. also has a Sunday evening worship service at 5:30 p.m. which focuses on Bible study with Pastor Ken and traditional hymn singing.
